I’ve been a State Farm agent since opening my office in August 2000, after joining the company in 1994 and working my way up to agent status. Now I’m proud to serve the residents of Georgetown, Frankfort and towns all across Kentucky, including Stamping Ground, Sadieville, Owenton, Paris, Lexington, Versailles, Shelbyville, Cynthiana, Nicholasville, Richmond, and Mt. Sterling. Our team is also well versed in assisting Commonwealth of Kentucky state and contract employees as well as Kentucky State University Employees. My agency handles everything from homeowners insurance, condo and renters insurance to life insurance, auto insurance, business insurance and financial services.
I started working for State Farm more than 25 years ago, beginning as a claims adjuster and then working as a field marketing associate. I learned the business from the ground up, gaining knowledge which I’m now pleased to share with my customers. The claims process can feel complicated to those who aren’t used to it, and I like being able to simplify things for people. I also draw satisfaction from helping generations of customers retire and protect their hard-earned assets—not just through insurance, but also through sound retirement strategies. Serving people is what our office is all about, and I love forming long-term relationships with our customers, all based on their trust in us.
Unlike all of my family, I’m not originally from Frankfort, KY. I was born in Dayton, Ohio while my Dad served in the United States Air Force, we also moved around quite a bit, and I ended up living in Virginia for many years before returning to bluegrass country back in 1999. I earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Ferrum College in Virginia, where I also studied economics and business administration. I’m married with two almost-grown children, and in my free time I love surfing and flying airplanes. Our family also enjoys traveling, going to the beach, and attending college ball games and high school events.
As part of agency life, my office and I strive to stay involved in the community in a variety of ways. 18 years ago, we started the Toys for Tots Fireman’s Chili Cook-off, which benefits the charity run by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve. This event has grown to an enormous size over the years, now averaging between 40 and 50 cooks and serving as many as 5500 people. I’m also a home lending broker and a licensed loan originator—I’m proud to serve our customers and community in a wide variety of ways.
Through a special State Farm program, we’re one of only a few agencies in the country that operates in two different locations. It’s an opportunity we don’t take for granted, and we’d love to help you find the right home, auto, renters, business or life insurance for you. Please call or visit for a free quote.
